(Technical) Account Manager, QA Tools

We are looking for a (Technical) Account Manager for our Quality Assurance tools to join our global sales team.

Your role and responsibilities in the job:

  • Qualification of incoming leads
  • Basic check of certain quality criteria
  • Decide which leads are worth it and which not
  • Managing customer evaluation process with our pre-sales/support org
  • Initial contact to answer requirements, questions, etc.
  • Understand potential, use cases, license needs, etc.
  • Find commercial and technical main contacts and decision makers
  • Follow-up during evaluation to ensure evaluation is on track
  • Organize demos / PoCs
  • Commercial negotiations, closing deals
  • Discussing license needs
  • Creating quotes
  • Working with procurement
  • Getting POs

Skills and competences needed in the role:

  • You have technical understanding of software development and QA processes

Technical Support Engineer, QA Tools

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer for our Quality Assurance tool unit.

Your role and responsibilities in the job:

  • Processing support requests from prospects and customers via email ticketing system
  • Providing tech support via email and, in some cases, online meetings
  • Reproducing technical issues
  • Developing and providing solutions for smaller issues or passing on requests to the development team for further debugging

Skills and competences needed in the role:

  • You have basic programming skills in script languages and (optionally) C++ or Java
  • You are well organized and solution oriented
  • You have good written and verbal communication skills (customer-facing and internally)
  • You are fluent with English, both spoken and written.

Software Engineer / C++ Developer

We are looking for candidates to expand our dynamic team of software engineers.

Your role and responsibilities in the job:

  • You will have the opportunity of designing, developing and maintaining our products Squish and Squish Coco and new products in a team of excellent software engineers.
  • Depending on your interest you can work on many different aspects of Squish and Squish Coco such as GUIs, toolkits, language bindings, client/server communication, report generation and much more. You will be able to work on many different platforms and environments.
  • You will also be in e-mail contact with our customers regarding bug reports and feature requests.

Skills and competences needed in the role:

  • Expert knowledge in C++ or Java
  • Basic knowledge of git and JIRA
  • Knowledge of some scripting language
  • Ability to work on different platforms (Windows, Linux, Unix, Mac OS X)

Data Science Engineer

We are looking for a data science engineer for our QA Tools team in Hamburg, Germany.

Your role and responsibilities in the job:

  • Working on our tools for GUI testing, code coverage and test result analysis, where you will contribute your data science experience to our product development team.
  • Being part of our experienced product development team.
  • Working with data produced by our test automation tools.
  • Designing and implementing models that perform complex analyses of software quality data

Skills and competences needed in the role:

  • Either already first experiences working or are a tech-enthusiastic graduate
  • Deep knowledge of theoretical and applied statistics and machine learning
  • Proficiency in scripting languages and relevant Data Science modules
  • Experience with SQL
  • An interest in working in a mixed-technology service landscape, using technologies such as Qt, C++ and JavaScript, among others
  • Ideally experience with development tooling such as git, Jenkins and Docker
  • A desire to quickly learn new technologies and work on existing code.
